The Jacob’s Pillow Dance Festival Archives is offering a 20-week fellowship from January 19 through June 5, 2009, funded by the Dance Heritage Coalition.  Duties will begin with a 10-week residency at Jacob’s Pillow, followed by a 10-week work assignment with the Bennington School of Dance Archives at Bennington College.  The Fellow will work under the direct supervision of the Pillow’s Director of Preservation.  Ideal candidate will have completed coursework in library science or archives management and will be seeking practical experience, but other situations will be considered.  Fellowship carries a stipend of $300 per week, with housing provided in each location.  Send letter and resume as soon as possible to Norton Owen, Director of Preservation, Jacob’s Pillow Dance Festival, nowen@jacobspillow.org.  Applications will be accepted until position is filled.
